Foundation of Hyatt Corporation

Grand Hyatt Bahria Town Karachi: When Jay Pritzker bought the Hyatt House motel next to the Los Angeles International Airport in 1957, he formed Hyatt. Together with other Pritzker family business ventures, Jay Pritzker and his brother Donald Pritzker expanded the business over the ensuing ten years, turning it into a North American management and hotel owning corporation that went public in 1962. Hyatt International was established in 1968 and later separated into a separate public corporation. The Pritzker family business interests took Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation private in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, together with a large portion of the hospitality assets controlled by Pritzker family business interests, were combined under the new name Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Grand Hyatt as an economic corridor for Pakistan

Finding the appropriate partner is essential, but the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor provides a compelling argument for hotel firms to expand their brands in Pakistan. The development of four Hyatt-branded properties across Pakistan at an investment of more than $600 million is apparently underway for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, which reportedly struck an agreement with Bahria Town, Asia’s largest private real estate developer. With the help of CPEC, Pakistan’s infrastructure will be rapidly upgraded and expanded, and the economic ties between Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China would be strengthened. The Grand Hyatt Islamabad, Hyatt Regency Karachi, Hyatt Regency Lahore, and Hyatt Regency Rawalpindi hotels are said to be Hyatt’s introduction into Pakistan.
